The development of modern phased array radars requires a multi-disciplinary approach in which the functional concept, the antenna, the electronics, and the electrical and cooling infrastructure are addressed simultaneously. In this multi-disciplinary team, the working area consists the development of new antenna and/or microwave concepts, introduction of new technologies and development of new Radar front-end designs. NPI Engineer

About the job
The NPI engineer is the interface in  a dynamic environment between development and the supply chain and responsible for the on-time delivery of products to the development teams You are working in a team with technique, purchasing and supply chain to accomplish this.

The main tasks are:

  • Collect production need from the development teams and maintain NPI schedule;
  • Long lead items management with suppliers;
  • Keep track on outstanding orders, ensure pro-active communication to the development teams on the status and progress;
  • Logistic interface between suppliers and development teams.

About you

  • Education: MBO+/HBO Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration;
  • You are proactive and creative in finding way to reduce cost and shorten time-to-market;
  • You have a background in logistics or a production environment;
  • You are independent but not individual;
  • Your are creative, enterprising and problem solving;
  • You are an enthusiastic and persistent personality with good communication skills;
  •  You master the English language in word and writing.
