To support our team in Vienna, we are looking for a:

System Engineering Manager (m/w)

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the generic Baselines for customer projects for ETCS Level 2 track side system for Railway Companies.
  • Providing a customer specific technical solution with Thales Austria-products (e.g. DAKO) and non-Thales Austria-products (e.g. RBC, HIS and MCE).
  • Management of the technical project of the generic Baseline includes the preparation and release of the technical system design, the integration, verification and validation and the approval of the system concluding of 3rd party products for customer projects within system engineering.
  • Tracking of following parameters within this responsibility: finance KPI (budget, actuals, ETC), timeline (key milestones, customer milestones), scope, risks & opportunities, savings

Your profile:

  • Technical education and IPMA Level C “Project Manager”
  • At least 3 years’ experience in system engineering.
  • Basis knowledge of the system of the main line system components to be developed
  • Engineering (Thales Chorus 2) and standard (CENELEC) process advanced knowledge
  • Handling of project management tools (like MS Office, Primavera)
  • Process working and solution oriented
  • Team oriented

  • Full time employment contract with competitive remuneration based on skills and experience. The statutory minimum wage for this position is 42.000,-- g.p.a.
