  • Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Manager plans and coordinates all activities related to the installation of equipment or systems on-site.
  • She/He is co-responsible (with the Project Manager, Project Design Authority and Field Safety Manager) for the field safety process
  • She/He is the company’s person in charge of the work-site and the local liaison with the Customer.
  • She/He must know, apply and propose improvements for the processes of monitoring and checking of the installation activities planned for the Project

The Site Manager is mainly also in charge of:

  • Defining the installation strategy based on the field data and available access time to sites (readyness).
  • In a Multi-Country project, optimizing the installation activities between contributing units applying the general work plan, the quality assurance plan and the HSE plan.
  • Sharing reports resulting from QHSE inspections and audits and leads weekly work progress meeting and the weekly work planning.
  • Verifying the civil work, equipment and assemblies units measurements of the Project.
  • Managing the equipment assembly and connection.
  • Providing the necessary equipment and resources for the testing and commissioning support activities.
  • Technical coordination of the areas related with the installation and control activities of the project
  • Having a close monitoring of the subcontractors.
  • The application of any required permit on Site
  • Ensuring that the staff on the work-site use the last updated versions of both documents and drawings.

To succed at this job, you must:

  • Have a technical background: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Civil Works
  • Have previous experience in international projects.
  • Be fluent in Spanish and English. Have professional working knowledge of French.
  • Be available and willing to travel and to spend long periods of time abroad.
