About Your Role

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Network Engineer’s to join our dynamic Airspace Mobility Solutions team based in Melbourne. The Network Engineer will apply their network design, implementation and support knowledge and expertise to develop and maintain network components of the solutions delivered by Thales.

  • Draw on their experience to provide network design assistance
  • Author accurate engineering network design documentation
  • Promote the practise of quality within the team
  • Perform project work to tight deadlines
  • Provide technical advice on network technologies
  • Participate in technical reviews (both internal and external)
  • Provide network support and identify, investigate and resolve incidents and problems and take remedial action where necessary. Including:
  • Monitor and optimise performance of networks and submit suggestions to optimise performance.

How About You?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Cisco CCNA (preferably CCNP or better) or similar.
  • High level of understanding in the design, development and implementation of secure, robust, comprehensive WAN and LAN infrastructure architectures
  • Experiencing in designing and implementing Cisco (Switching and Routing) platforms and supporting infrastructure.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Network technologies relevant to site preparation, High level and Low-level Designs (Network Design Documents) across multiple technologies (Ethernet, IP).
