DevOps IVVQ Engineer (m/w/d)

In the Transportation division at our headquarters in Ditzingen near Stuttgart

You will enjoy having this responsibility:

In this role you are responsible for the execution of automated regression tests on the integrated system as well extension of the Continuous Integration pipeline and tool chain for product/system test.

It also involves the following tasks:

  • Creation and execution of automated regression tests on the integrated system
  • Debugging of failure situations and pre-analysis of those issues
  • Deployment of artifacts, delivered by the development teams, into an integration environment (integration space)
  • Setup/Extension of the Continuous Integration pipeline and tool chain for product/system test
  • Setup/Extension of the Continuous Deployment pipeline and tool chain for product/system test
  • Collaboration with engineering support team to maintain & improve the cloud environment
  • Collaboration with development teams solve together the found issues
  • Maintenance and extension of automated test environment for Cloud based systems

You have:

  • Academic degree / tertiary education in Software Engineering or Computer Science or similar
  • At least 2 years experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Java programming skills and knowledge of Cloud Technology (OpenStack, CloudFoundry, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Good skills with Nexus and Maven as well as familiarity with Git repositories (Gerrit, BitBucket) are a plus
  • Code analysis skills (e.g. BlackDuck, SonarQube) are a plus
  • Basic Linux slills
  • Good communication and team skills
  • Structured way of working, teamwork and willingness to take responsibility
  • Good English skills in reading and writing
